LED Wall vs. Projection: Choosing the Right Screen

The question we get most often from corporate planners is whether to spend on an LED wall or stay with projection. The honest answer is that it depends on the room.

LED wins in high ambient light. If your general session is in a space with windows, heavy house lighting, or a stage wash that spills onto the screen, LED holds contrast where projection washes out.

Projection still wins on wide, cinematic formats and tight budgets. A blended widescreen image across a 40-foot surface is often far more cost-effective than the equivalent LED square footage.

Content matters too. Motion graphics, brand loops and live camera feeds look spectacular on fine-pitch LED. Text-heavy slide decks read fine on either, provided you size the screen to the furthest viewer.

We site-survey every general session and model sightlines before quoting, so the screen decision is driven by the room and the content — not a catalog line item.
